I'm Alive and Well

It's three days since surgery. My knees are feeling a lot better. The arthritic pain is gone but it still sore due to the surgery. The doctor had injected the other with cortisone so it is now pain free. I've been walking around with crutches and they seem to get in the way of everything. I'm trying to keep up with the exercises to keep the knee from stiffening up.

I've been off of my feet, per doctor's instructions, so I've been doing a lot of reading. And it will be a little difficult to get into my sewing area with the darn crutches, but I'm hoping to get a little more quilting done soon.

  1. Glad you're feeling better. The soreness will go away and you'll be like brand new before long at all! Let me guess what you're reading.... ;)

Try to enjoy the downtime, you'll be busy again soon enough!

  2. Keep feeling better, Jane! :)

Thanks for your kind words on my thrifty quilt - I was going to give it away, but now, I am keeping it! :)

  3. Jane, what did the surgeon find when you had your surgery? Are you going to need the total Knee thing? It's been two weeks since I had my surgery, and it has not been anything to take lightly. I've had several other joint surgeries and other surgery, too, and this has been by far the hardest one yet. I'm interested in how you made out with your arthroscopy. You look so very young to be having such trouble with your knees. Not fun, but hang in there!
