I'm a Winner!!

I had just posted about my frustrations at the sewing machine.


Here's a photo of the quilt that was giving such headaches.  I think I'm done with my pity-party!

After I posted my last entry, I found out the I had won a give-away from Annie Smith from Quilting Stash (simplearts.com)!


It is a book I've been wanting for a while and now Annie will be sending my one personally!!  This makes my day so much better!!!!!  It almost makes me forget about the problems before...what machine-quilting... ;-P !!

Now I will be anxiously waiting for new gift in the mail!!!

    Your red and white quilt is absolutely STUNNING! Love love love it. Have you considered doing some fancy cross-hatching with your machine to quilt the quilt? The straight lines would be a neat contrast to the curves.... just a thought.

    Re: my tablerunner project in American Patchwork and Quilting... you are right, haven't shared about it on my blog. The reason being the people at APQ still has the sample, and it's been traveling for a little big to at least one quilt guild meetings. I hope to get it back soon so that I can take pictures of the project to show on my blog. :)
